Fast Ginger Meatballs

It’s always nice to have an easy dish in your repertoire that can be served either as a quick meal or as an impressive appetizer to bring to a party. These fast ginger meatballs serve both purposes. They are sure to be a hit when paired with the peanut sauce and a nice, crisp Sauvignon Blanc.

The playlist for these is appropriate both for a family-wide dance party, a swanky cocktail party and everything in between!


1 Lb. Ground Beef
1 ½ Tsp. Fresh Ginger, Minced
¼ C. Soy Sauce
¼ C. Bread Crumbs
1 Egg
Sesame Oil for cooking

Peanut Sauce
¾ C. Peanut Butter
1/8 C. Soy Sauce
1/8 C. Water
1 Tbsp. Sriracha
1 Clove Garlic, minced


  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix all above ingredients and form into 1 inch balls.
  3. Fry in sesame oil to brown all sides.
  4. Place par-cooked balls on a baking sheet and bake to cook through, about 8 minutes.
  5. While the meatballs finish cooking, mix all ingredients to make the peanut sauce.
  6. Serve as an appetizer with peanut sauce to dip or on top of a bed of rice with shredded vegetables (radishes and cabbage as pictured) as an entrée.
