People Operations Intern

Location: Geyserville, California

Job Summary:

 

Reporting to the Business Partner, the People Operations Intern is responsible for learning about The Family Coppola’s Human Resources department and contributing to the recruitment and on-boarding process. This role is ideal for an aspiring HR professional who is interested in learning how the department contributes to the overall success of employees and the company.  The successful candidate will have impeccable communication skills, strong attention to detail, and be an extremely efficient and organized self-starter with strong time management skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

  • Work closely with Business Partner on various recruitment initiatives from online advertising to college partnerships and events.
  • Learn full cycle recruiting from posting ads to screening candidates and extending offers.
  • Assist with scheduling interviews.
  • Looks for areas of improvement and provide suggestions to department.
  • Assist with Hiring Events.
  • Research competitor’s recruiting strategies.
  • Gain valuable experience in interviewing and resume writing.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Must be enrolled in a college intern course for school credit
  • Outstanding written, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Team oriented
  • Innovative - Ability to look beyond the standard solutions
  • Creative - Ability to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
  • Build positive, supportive cross-functional relationships with key departments
  • 3rd year student working on Bachelor’s degree or graduate
  • Event management is a plus
