  • Can you give me a general overview?

Francis Ford Coppola wanted to create a place for families to come and enjoy all the best things in life together. For years, he had seen children playing around the fountain at Inglenook, pleading with their parents to allow them to jump in. Francis always sympathized with the children, so he thought the kids will want to go swimming, so let's have swimming pools.

Situated in the center of the park area at the winery, two swimming pools totaling 3,600 square feet are surrounded by chaise lounge chairs, which have become a welcome addition for children and adults on warm Alexander Valley days.

We look forward to seeing you poolside this summer!

For the 2021 pool season, we have taken proactive measures to socially distance our pool deck. This results in the need to eliminate all daily pool passes and greatly reduce the number of Cabines we have available to our guests. During this time, we can only allow guests with reservations onto the property. No additional pool passes can be added to your reservation as individual pool passes will not be available for the 2021 pool season.

Please note that in efforts to create social distancing, your chair groups will be assigned to you.

All pool guests will need to sign a Waiver of Liability upon arrival for us to honor their Cabine reservation. Click here to review the Waiver of Liability prior to your reservation day. If you have any questions regarding the Waiver of Liability, please email at least 48 hours in advance of your reservation date.

All guests must agree to follow all safety protocols and precautions required by the winery. All guests must acknowledge their obligation to enter the winery premises only if they are experiencing no COVID-19 symptoms identified by the Centers for Disease Control and the California Department of Public Health and have not had a fever or felt feverish without the use of medication in the last 72 hours prior to their visit.

For the safety of our visitors and staff, we will require that face masks be worn by all guests during your visit as you transition through the property. Only while you are seated in your lounge chair or in the water will the wearing of face masks not be required. Visitors are asked to bring their own face masks. Without a face mask, we will not be able to accommodate your visit. This is for the safety of all our guests and staff.

All pool guests will need to practice social distancing while on the pool deck and in the water. All Chair Groups will be spaced at least 6 feet apart. Please note that during this time, there are state and local guidelines regarding gatherings. Therefore, your party must be comprised of three households or fewer.
