Wine Notes
The 2018 crop experienced excellent ripeness and the fruit maintained a strong level of natural acidity, making for an exceptionally well balanced wine that has deep defined color and expansive aromatics. Also contributing to the wine’s balance and complexity is the fact we blended fruit from several different clones, including 777, 667, and 115. As a result, the wine presents a lot of lush, sweet, forward fruit, but also shows intense savory spiciness in the mid palate, and fine tannins on the finish. It's a wine that is drinking well already but can also cellar for a long time, making this a very special vintage we are extremely excited about.
